Bounty Hunter/Living Corpse One-Pager!
The artist, Evan Quiring, sent it to me and I sent it to Peter. Now, Peter has it, and is inking it as we speak. (That's Peter Palmiotti, inker extraordinaire, for those not in the know.)
When he's done, it heads back up to Canada to Jim for coloring and lettering, then back to me, then off to Buz and Ken over at the Living Corpse.
I'd give you a peek, but since it's only one page, that would ruin the whole thing. LOL.
More later.

Bear with me!
Bounty Hunter in Oz is stalled on Chapter 12 at the moment. Hit a bit of a snag, and I'm in the process of working through it. I'm also working on a Bounty Hunter/Living Corpse project together with Evan Quiring, Peter Palmiotti and Jim Rodgers, so that's taking up a bit of my energy. Also on deck at the moment is a Rabid one-shot, featuring two Rabid stories, a team-up with Hayden Fryer's Billy: The Demon Slayer, annnnnnnd I'm totally reworking the zero issue for Bounty Hunter. Again!
Tales of Gratuitous Team-ups, you ask??? Don't know what's going on with that. Only two pages of script left, but who knows? I'll have to go bug Mr. McQuaid about it, and get back to it. LOL.
Like I said, bear with me.

It's being written very quickly, so I just need to get some illustrations done, and it's ready to go.
Stay Tuned.

Upcoming Projects (and the finished cover artwork for Fox Hunt).

Now here's what I'm working on at the moment.
Bounty Hunter/Celtic Shaman/Rabid Fox Hunt: Tales of Gratuitous Team-Ups #1
Darren Walters: Bounty Hunter: The Superhero Killings novella
Bounty Hunter #0
And a 10-page short Bounty Hunter comic story that will hopefully be showing up in Planet Lovecraft.
Please note that Bounty Hunter #0 is being reworked. The plan right now is to just publish the 8-10 page back-up origin story, which is also the War of the Independents tie-in, as the the Zero issue. I may also include the 8 page Fusion story by Chris Jones as well. The main part of the issue is now going to be #1 of the series. I just find that the story works better this way. So #0 will be coming your way sooner then planned. Still not sure exactly when, but sooner.
And just so you know, Columbia Comics Golden Age character, The Skyman, and Chris's Fusion, will both be appearing in Fox Hunt. YAY!

Pencils for Fox Hunt cover (Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!)

This is the cover I'll be using on the copies of Fox Hunt I get printed. There will be two, yes TWO other covers, done by the artists for the other two characters, Celtic Shaman and Rabid. I'll post those here when they are done.
The script is comng along nicely (we're past the half way point) and Celtic Shaman artist, Daniel Wong, has started in on the pencils.
So, sometime in 2009, people. Keep your eyes open!!!
And again, MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR from the folks at Capture Comics.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I'm really excited about this. Especially since I'm a big fan of Atomic Robo. I'm also trying to help get a few more characters for the book (give Pete and the others a bit more time to actually work on the book). So far I've contacted Martheus Wade (Jetta) about his Turra- Gun Angel character, Scott Claringbold for his Rabid character, and Capture Comics' very own Chris Jones about his Fusion character (mentioned on here before as the Fortune and Glory Kid). I even went out on a limb and e-mailed Robert Kirkman about the possibility of him lending out Invincible or his Wolf-Man character, although I'll be muchly surprised if that one happens. LOL!
Anyway, I'll be sure to keep you updated on who gets in and who doesn't.
